Helen Flanagan ‘mum-shamed’ over son Charlie’s ‘horrendous’ tantrum on holiday
HELEN Flanagan has candidly detailed the moment she was “mum shamed” as her youngest played up on their sun-soaked Easter holiday.
The Coronation Street actress, 32, is currently overseas on a getaway with her three kids.
Yet despite the perfect palm-tree filled settings and constant hot weather Helen is like any other mum, experiencing the ups and downs of parenting three young kids.
She split from her footballer fiance Scott Sinclair in October after 13 years together, with the pair now co-parenting Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and two-year-old Charlie.
She candidly opened up on her mum shaming experience at the hands of fellow guests in her hotel, when little Charlie started having a tantrum.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, she explained a female pal had accompanied her on the trip to help with the kids.
She said: “I cannot tell you how horrendous Charlie’s tantrums have been.
“I mean I’ve got two children and I know what babies can be like and the tantrums and stuff but when I’m saying he screamed the restaurant down yesterday.
“He just screamed and screamed.”
She added: “There was no consoling him at all he literally just screamed the whole restaurant down.
“It was a really, really, really busy restaurant – I could feel there was a table, just sensed it.
“This is my third child – I don’t think they were being that nice to be honest about my parenting, even though I was really trying my best to console Charlie.”
Yet she added there was a “really nice” girl who came up to her for a hug and to offer support as the drama played out.
Earlier today, Helen was back on busy mum mode as she posted a snap showing the family in their resort.
The image captured her kids blissfully happy as they ran around the lush green plants.
Helen wrote in her caption: “Supermum vibes every day first day of the kids holiday xxx.”
Yesterday, she showed off the results of her boob job in a black bikini and denim mini skirt.
Helen has always been candid in speaking out about life as a parent.
She recently revealed she does not want any more children as she finds it tough splitting herself in three to give them “equal attention.”
She also opened up on a “nightmare day” after Charlie pooed on her and told her fans of a recent “mum fail.”
