
A CHILD is among 12 people killed after a minibus and truck crashed.
The two vehicles collided head-on between Maraba and Nova Ipixuna in the state of Para, Brazil.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following the crash on Friday.
Authorities said nine people died at the scene, and a further three on the way to hospital.
A child, whose age has not been confirmed, was among those killed, reports g1.
Several others were rushed to hospital, where some remain in a serious condition.


Cops say the minibus was carrying 18 people, while there were two people in the truck.
The road was taped off by police for several hours as officers investigated.
It is understood a three-year-old child is among the survivors.
