A MUM has revealed some of the secrets behind the after care of a tummy tuck and the affordable creams she uses to reduce her scarring.
After losing 75 lbs Arubee decided she wanted a tummy tuck to get rid of some of her loose skin and breast implants.
Going by @musclemummy online Arubee has been sharing surgery updates.
Now more than seven weeks post op the mum of two has been sharing her tips for those looking to get a tummy tuck.
In a TikTok recent video she explained what she uses to help reduce scarring.
She said: “Okay so if you’re getting a tummy tuck and you’re dark skinned, I’m going to show what I have been doing on my scars.

The cosmetic fan explained even those her surgeon told her to use Bio oil she hasn’t used it.
“So I haven’t used any bio oil because I used that when I was pregnant and I still got stretch marks so I was like absolutely not.”
“My surgeon told me to and I was like nope not doing that.”
Arubee used two key creams to help scars heal quickly.
The mum of two says she uses the £18 La Roche Posay B5 Repairing Balm and a trusty tub of Vaseline.
“So I bought a massive tub of Vaseline and I’ve been using the [La Roche Posay B5 Repairing Balm] and that’s what I use on my scars.”

“So I put this balm on first and I’m just gonna show you on my belly button.”
Arubee says she layers the creams.
“And I just massage it. You’ll want to massage each cream thoroughly before putting the next layer on. I do add more then I get the Vaseline”
To see results Arubee says she had to be consistent as she applies the creams three times a day.
“I spend an hour doing this three times a day. I’m dedicated.”
“And then sometimes I put silicone gel on top of that or I will just put my silicone tape after I leave it for an hour.”
“Because you don’t want to put the tape on when it still got lots of cream, you want it to soak in a little bit.”

Arubbe said so far she is pleased with the results she is seeing.
“But yeah it leaves marks everywhere but I feel like that’s why I’m really pleased with my scars.”
