Home » I’m a Hooters girl – I revealed what I make in a shift, people can’t believe how much my regular tipped

ONE good table can turn the tide for a server’s entire day or in one server’s case, her whole week.

A Hooters server counted up how much she made in one shift and people were shocked at how much a regular tipped.

Katie Burckley (@katieburckley), a Hooters girl based in North Carolina, shared how her shift went in a video with over 6,000 TikTok followers.

The loyal server, who has been with the chain for over five years since she was 18 years old, counted her tips efficiently.

After an $8 tip on a $32 table, she spotted tips left by her regular.

“My regular came in, he tipped me about… $715..” she said.

Another regular came in and left her a $10 tip on a $34 tab.

A third regular left her a $20 tip on a $51 tab.

In total, the server walked away with $947 for the shift.

Katie left a disclaimer that tips on that scale were not a regular occurrence: “This is NOT an everyday thing fyi,” she said.

People took to the comments to share their collective shock at the tips: “$715.00?!?! What was that tab? Storytime?” asked one commenter.

“Period you go girl make that moneyssss,” said another.

“So you only had like 10 tables all day?” asked one commenter.

“I had about 14 or so but I’ve built regulars over 5 1/2 years so they make up for a lot of my tables!” she responded.
