AFFORDING a giant place with several bedrooms isn’t always an option, especially in the cost of living crisis.
But that doesn’t mean living in a small place has to be a pain.
One woman, who is currently pregnant and already has two children, has revealed they live in a one-bedroom apartment and have figured out the best ways to maximise the space.
Standing in front of a mirror to show off her blossoming baby bump, Tiana-Rose explained that they are close to becoming a family of five.
She then panned the camera to a set of stairs and shared that their front door is up there, alongside their shoes and some Pampas grass.
“We keep it pretty minimal because the landing is tight,” she said before turning the camera around to show off their entryway, where their keys, jewellery and hand sanitisers live.

“We have a seating area next to it. This is really handy for when we are putting our shoes on.
“To the left of our dresser we have our hallway and a little towel rack here.”
She then moved into the bedroom, where a small carpet could be seen on the floor, alongside a baby cot, toy basket, a small clothing rack for her children and books.
Explaining that this is the only bedroom in the house, she then turned the camera around to show the double bed, which sat right next to a small desk in the “toy corner”.
“So I guess the key to maximising the space is being organise,” TikTok user @tianarosemotherhood went on before showing several boxes tucked underneath the bed.
“I have all these spare toys under here and we do toy rotations and it’s easy to pull out.”
She then showed off their wardrobe, which had a section for baby’s clothes and nappies, her clothes and work items, linens, her drawers and her partner’s drawers.
Tiana-Rose also showed off a basket, which she said was full of jackets, before moving to the hallway again to explain that the dresser also has some of their clothes in it.
Turning the camera once more, she then showed off the kitchen area, which had an island with bar stools.
“We’re really fortunate to have a huge kitchen with amazing storage and we utilise a lot of that for miscellaneous things as well,” she said.
“Adjacent to our dining area is the studio,” she said, explaining that she’s a newborn photographer.
She then showed a white curtain, which separates the kitchen from her and her partner’s bedroom.
“This curtain opens up, but we like to keep it there for a little divider. It’s kind of like studio living,” she said.
The room sported a floor bed, a baby cot and several plants.
“Across from our bedroom is the lounge room,” she went on, turning the camera to show off an L-shaped couch and TV.
“We just did a decorate and the snake tank was next to our bedroom,” [sic] she said.
People were quick to comment on Tiana-Rose’s apartment as one person wrote: “That is the biggest one bedroom apartment I have ever seen !!! I’d be staying thee too to save $$ for a house . Beautiful styling too xx”. [sic]
Another shared: “This is a HUGE one bedder but I love how well you’ve used your space. Amazing,” with a red heart emoji.

She replied: “Thank you. We have tried to maximise the space as much as possible whilst trying to keep it a little bit aesthetically pleasing”.
While a third said: “You did an incredible job! Wow. Interior design is up your alley especially with limited spaces”.
