THE linesman who allegedly elbowed Andy Robertson will not face any punishment from the FA.
Constantine Hatzidakis made headlines after appearing to strike the Scot during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal.
Robertson was left incensed by the alleged incident, which occurred on the half-time whistle at Anfield last weekend.
Television replays appeared to show Hatzidakis strike the full-back.
Referee Paul Tierney then gave the Scot a yellow card for his protestations.
The officials were subsequently surrounded by Liverpool players, including a furious Robertson.
And they were booed off by the crowd after exchanging stern words with Reds skipper Jordan Henderson, who protested his team-mate’s case.
