MANCHESTER UNITED have crashed out of the Europa League at the hands of Sevilla.
The Red Devils’ European campaign came to an end in Spain as they failed to find their cutting edge against the LaLiga side.
United got off to a horrible start as Youssef En-Nesyri gave the hosts the lead in the 8th minute.
The Moroccan striker capitalised on a mistake from David De Gea and Harry Maguire before firing the LaLiga side ahead on aggregate.
The visitors were then let off the hook in the 42nd minute as Lucas Ocampos’ goal was ruled out for VAR as Marcos Acuna was offside by the tightest of margins during the build-up to the goal.
But the hosts got their second goal just after the start of the second half as Lois Bade unconventionally shouldered the ball looping over De Gea in the 47th minute.
To make matters worse, forward Anthony Martial was forced off with an injury in the 54th minute.
The result was wrapped up in the 81st minute de Gea failed to control a ball outside of his area and En-Nesyri was on hand to fire into an empty net from 25-yards.
