Tommy Mallet breaks his silence with heartbreaking revelation after Georgia Kousoulou’s devastating miscarriage
TOMMY Mallet has broken his silence following girlfriend Georgia Kousoulou’s devastating miscarriage.
The Only Way is Essex star told fans the couple have returned to work as they finish filming their ITVBe spin-off show, Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps.
Heartbroken reality star Georgia, who is mum to son Brody, one, revealed the devastating news on Instagram last week.
Addressing his loss for the first time, Tommy shared a picture of him with Georgia and Brody behind the camera.
“And just like that life changes”, wrote Tommy.
“It’s been a rough few days for my family but as always we keep it moving.
“Georgia is on the mend and it’s mine and Brody’s mission to build her back up.
“We were documenting the pregnancy for our show and found out the bad news whilst filming, and as a family we’ve always said we need to keep it real no matter what, so we are going to finish the show off and hopefully help some people along the way!
“I’m so proud of Georgia. Thank you for the messages we really appreciate it.”
She wrote: “Our 12 week scan to be told our baby had not survived & I needed an op…
“12 weeks of feeling every emotion , hoping & praying but in the end , nothing else we could of done .
“We don’t really have the words to say right now except we are lucky to have amazing family & friends around us .. & most importantly we are blessed to have our beautiful Brody who we couldn’t of got through this without him.
“We will have the words soon but right now we are taking time for us as a family.”
In January, 31-year-old Georgia praised her son for helping heal a rift between her and Tommy.
The couple briefly split after Brody’s birth as they struggled adapting to parenthood.
However, they fought through the hard times and said the experience made them stronger..
Georgia said: “Our break-up has strengthened our relationship.
“If you had asked me about our relationship in the summer, I would have been like ‘no way’.
“But we’ve actually got through it and we’re stronger than we’ve ever been.
“We had so much more to fight for and when you have a family it’s not as easy as saying ‘we’re not getting on’
“When you have someone else in the picture that you love and are both obsessed with, then you want to do it for them, obviously if it’s not working then you can’t stay together for the child, but we knew that there was so much to fight for.”
“So Brody definitely helped, helped us see the light.”
Georgia continued: “You don’t know what can happen in life but what we now know is that we can get through things which is amazing.
“It’s literally shown the strength of us, so I feel I won’t be as scared if that happens again.”
Tommy and Georgia became an item in 2014 and got engaged last February on a family holiday in Mexico.
